We were a group of about 13 people and had a blackboard in the hall. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The meals were sufficient portions. All guests have also adhered to the hygiene regulations. Everything great.

Not a large selection at the salad bar, my seasoned meat wasn't bad, but the hunter's pot wasn't very appealing. But the staff is very friendly

Everything was newly renovated, a very large schnitzel perfect, the fries were nice and crispy. The salad was ok. A very friendly service, if I visit again I would visit the restaurant again.

5 * are justified! Very good food, friendly service, good value for money. Even I, as a real schnitzel eater, did not quite manage the portion. - There are enough parking spaces, swimming pool next door. Biking, hiking, skiing, everything is possible from there. We recommend!!!

We were here twice on vacation. Deliciously eaten in the beer garden. Very nice service. Roulades with Thuringian dumplings and the schnitzel tasted great.

You can sit outside on the terrace. The menu is very extensive, but there are many schnitzel dishes. From the kitchen you can hear the tapping of the schnitzel. Even though we were 7 people, the food came out amazingly quickly. Every meal included a mixed salad (GDR classic), which was served in advance. I had a very good roast venison, my wife trout, which was also very good. Everyone else had schnitzel or grilled dishes and was very happy with the large portions. Certainly not a star chef, but the two gentlemen from the kitchen deliver very solid home cooking. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. But quality and quantity match the prices.

Stopped by chance at this restaurant and didn't regret it. An extensive menu with dishes for everyone. A large terrace and a very friendly service rounded off the perfect lunch. We can recommend the Schützenhaus to everyone.

Unassuming restaurant but with top food, especially the Thuringian dumplings are delicious. Ordinary portions at a reasonable price. The service staff are very friendly and attentive and also for a little fun. Come back on a future tour of the Thuringian Forest over again.
